In the glass this wine is reminiscent of California hillsides in summertime, showing a beautiful pale golden straw color. Aromas of orange blossom, citrus rind, and stone fruits of white peach and apricot open the bouquet. Layers of tropical pineapple and starfruit then give way to toasted hazelnuts and a touch of smoke, while the depths of the nose reveal a pleasant minerality. On the palate the clean, soft, full entry builds with layers of tropical fruit, white melon, green apple, and citrus. Excellent weight and acid balance throughout refresh the palate, while subtle notes of oak spice and vanilla linger at the end of the exceptionally long finish. (3 bottle limit)

This wine is brilliant green-gold, with yellow highlights. The nose is simply a big bowl of luscious chardonnay fruit - pear, green apple, cinnamon, kiwi, and gooseberry - expounding heartily the virtues of the vineyard and grapes… FANTASTIC. On the palate it follows very well with a refreshing clarity of fruit - big, juicy, round and supple. It is especially fine on the finish and really leaves you wanting more. The aftertaste is very balanced and carries good fruit. Here, too, the winemaking, with our trademark kiss of oak and other cellar tones, is in the background. (1 Bottle Limit)

Showing a pale golden color in the glass, this young wine opens with aromas of Charantais melon, good varietal grapefruit notes, brown sugar, honeysuckle, orange blossom, and a tropical hint of papaya. On the palate the firm acid core makes for a very juicy entry and nice persistant finish. It is rich and round, mouthcoating with excellent concentration. The flavors are largely citrus driven, honey tangerine initially moving into sweet grapefruit on the finish, but with lovely layers of tropical fruits as well – mango, guava, and papaya.
